St. Stephen’s College Delhi – A brief History: St. Stephen’s college is affiliated to the University of Delhi and is located in Delhi, India. St. Stephen’s is one of the oldest and most eminent colleges for science and arts in India. This well known Christian college falls under the Church of North India. St. Stephens College DU has furnished a number of notable alumni such as Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed who has been the former president of India,  Muhammad Zia Ul Haq who was the former president of Pakistan and many more distinguished alumni who are world famous and highly reputed.

St. Stephen’s college – University of Delhi

St. Stephen’s Delhi was established in 1845 by the Reverend M. J. Jennings, the Chaplain of Delhi. The college was operated under the Delhi Mission of the society for the propagation of the gospel.

The college was initially premised in Chandni Chawk, Delhi and was affiliated to the University of Calcutta. It constituted of 3 professors and 5 boarders. Later, the college changed its affiliation to Punjab University and was moved to a new location, Kashmiri Gate in Delhi. Getting St stephen’s college admission is like having a dream come true.
