  4. Hello Ma’am
I wanted to inquire about the admission process of your college for the students pursuing IB board. What is the grade conversion scheme followed by your college for the grades of IB to convert it to the Indian equivalent marks? And do you accept the students of IB board on the basis of their predicted grades on a conditional basis or wait till the result is declared on July 5 which is too late and all the admission applications are already processed till that time. Do you have an entrance exam for some courses like English hons.?
I have already seen the conversion of IB Grade to Marks Scheme (Previous Years) which states that 7 ranges from 96 to 100, 6 ranges from 83 to 95 and so on. But I cannot feasibly convert the total grade marks of IB with the help of these grade conversions. Can you please tell me what will be my percentage if I score 7,6,6,6 in best of four subjects. As when I calculate the percentage on this basis, a huge difference is present when I take 83 instead of 95 or 95 instead of 83 for the grade 6. Can you please be precise about this conversion process. And please do revert me for the admissions of IB students. Also are IB students given additional 5% for their Theory Of Knowledge(TOK),CAS and Extended Essay(EE)?
I hope you’ll take out some time from your busy schedule and help me with my queries. I look forward to your response.
